
The next stage for our group was to ideate. We had come up with a definition of the problem previously which was ‘How to encourage young adults to balance their offline><online lifestyles’ and now it was time to think of solutions.’
At the start we were a little stuck as to what to say. People were unsure of their ideas as they seemed stupid or impossible but, during this stage its best to just write or draw everything down no matter how silly. We had come up with a few ideas inside the classroom before he got stuck again for ideas.

We decided that we would go for a walk around the campus to have a relax and be in a different environment to hopefully help spark some ideas. This walk proved effective as just having a casual conversation with people drew my mind away from actively focusing to finding a solution and this sparked some ideas, as I wasn’t consciously thinking about ideas to find.

Our walk over, we wrote down all of our ideas and then read them out. We were trying to determine which ones would be possible to prototype. We did like most of our ideas, but other were not possible, but we took elements from the impossible ideas to help make our chosen ones better.
